A standard Gyn resectoscope (operating hysteroscope) is used with circulating fluid to view the uterine lining. A small round or oblong electrode is passed through the hysteroscope and used to treat the uterine lining. Dr. Gurley uses fluid volume monitoring equipment to reduce the risk of excess fluid absorption.
